W. M. Schwind, Jr. Antiques and Fine Art was established in 1967 by Wilmont (“Bill”) Schwind, a Harvard-trained art historian.

Arlene Palmer Schwind, a graduate of the Winterthur Program and a former curator at the Winterthur Museum in Delaware, is a recognized authority in the field of glass and ceramics. She has published numerous books and articles and works as a consultant to museums and historic houses.

The Schwinds are knowlegeable antiquarians with broad interests and expertise.

Their shop in Yarmouth is a true Treasure House, that has been a destination for art and antiques lovers for over 50 years. The items shown on this website are only a sampling of the shop’s wonderful inventory.
